Q: My blood pressure is 95 over 60. What would you recommend I take to bring my blood pressure up to the normal range?
A: Most people have high blood pressure but many people also have low blood pressure, which can be just as bad as high blood pressure.
Frankly, low blood pressure can be dangerous especially in the elderly because if you blood pressure drops too low you can get dizzy and fall. Older people who fall usually break their hips, which is bad news.
Research studies show that elderly people who break their hip usually become disabled and some die within a year of their hip fracture due to complications such as blood clots and infections.
It is very easy to correct low blood pressure. Just add a little more salt to you diet. That is it. As easy as 1-2-3.
People with high blood pressure should reduce or avoid salt in their diet because it raises blood pressure. However, a little extra salt in the diet is excellent for people with low blood pressure. So as previously mentioned just start adding a little more salt to your food.
Two super healing herbs, Licorice and Ginseng will also help to raise your blood pressure. Take both as directed on label. Continue monitoring your blood pressure. As soon as your blood pressure is at the normal range, discontinue taking these herbs. For your information, a normal blood pressure range is 120 over 80 or a little below; 115 or 117 over 70 or 79 is also normal.
To keep your blood vessels nice and clean and your heart healthy also take Omega 3-Fish Oil, 2 capsules daily with breakfast or dinner. It also wouldn’t hurt to take Co-Q10, 100mg daily with food to help protect your heart, brain and kidneys as well as to boost your energy levels. Because Co-Q10 increases energy levels, it is best taken with breakfast or lunch. While you are at it throw in a good multi-vitamin, (without iron). If you follow this protocol, your blood pressure should be back to normal in no time.
